How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To
When you reach out through Oklahomabasically Windows & Siding, you end up speaking with an independent provider in our network. That provider is a local business, not part of Oklahomabasically Windows & Siding. Think of us as the person who introduces you at a party. After the introduction, the conversation is between you and the provider.
What Happens on the Call
The first conversation is usually short and simple. A provider will likely ask:
- What kind of project it is: window replacement or siding installation
- How many windows are involved, or roughly how large the siding job is
- What type of home you have, such as concrete block, and whether it is part of a condo or association
- When you would like the work to happen
Most providers then suggest a time to look at your home and prepare a written quote. For window work, the project should involve replacing two or more windows. Repairs are not part of what this network covers.
What to Ask a Provider
A few good questions can save you a lot of stress. Write these on a sticky note before the first conversation:
- Are you licensed and insured for this kind of work in my area?
- Can I get the quote in writing, with materials and labor listed separately?
- Which products do you suggest for humid weather and storm season, and why?
- How long will the work take, and what will a normal day look like at my house?
- Who handles permits, cleanup and any condo association paperwork?
- What warranty comes with the product, and what covers the labor?
Prices vary a lot by home and product, so treat any number you hear before a visit as a rough guess. A written quote is the number that counts.
Planning Around a Busy Household
If your home runs on school bells and work calendars, say so. Ask whether the job can be done in stages, which rooms will be affected first, and how furniture and pets will be handled. A patient provider will happily plan around your routine.
You Are in Control
You can compare more than one quote. You can ask for time to think. You can say no. There is no obligation when you request an estimate, and nobody at Oklahomabasically Windows & Siding will pressure you to sign anything.
